As of January 1, 2025 users have contacted us and reported the above issue when importing pointclouds or accessing a variety of other pointcloud functions. This issue affects Map360 2024 and 2022 hotfix.
A patch has been released that replaces two components of Map360 and resolved the issue. The patch can be downloaded from the Helpdesk downloads page or directly from here:
- Unzip the archive (but don't change the folder structure)
- Log in to an Administrative account (or ask IT to perform the installation)
- Run the executable.
- Check the created log file to ensure that two files were successfully copied. Messages about missing at least some missing registry entries are normal)
