In this article, we will go over a few settings to change to address the crashing and/or failure to launch of the Map360 program. These issues seem to relate to the display of the new license dialog in the 2021 version. 1 - Lower your resolution from 4K. To do this, right-click anywhere on your desktop and select Display Settings Then, under Resolution, change it to anything below the 4K resolution. Typically, 4K resolution will have a value of 3840 x 2160 Any value below the 4K resolution should be fine, so select a value that looks fine with your monitor. 2 - Change the DPI settings for Map360. If possible, you can lower the scaling percentage value in the Display Settings shown above instead, under Change the size of text, apps and other items, but if that causes other applications and icons to become too small, then follow the steps below. Right-click your Map360 icon, and select Properties Then switch to the Compatibility tab, and select the Change high DPI settings Check on the Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by: and select System or System (Enhanced) Finally, press OK then Apply. If after making these changes and your program still fails to launch, please contact our MicroSurvey Support team so they can access what might be the cause. | |
